Tropical blender – Mangifera indica (mangoe)

Everyday things can seem pretty boring, but the beauty of a juxtaposition of the function and creativity can be very exciting to try and show. In my still life collection, i try bring unexpected combinations, or a different context to change or shift what “normal” might be. Food is central to everyone’s life – celebrating the simplicity of nature through these compositions is a lot of fun.  I paint what i see in my minds eye to capture the emotion of the moment not as a literal translation.
